The Courts The State of Alabama has three bankruptcy districts. They include the Southern District Bankruptcy Court (main office in Mobile), the Northern District Bankruptcy Court (main office in Birmingham) and the Middle Bankruptcy Court (main office in Montgomery). These districts are further divided into divisions which service individual counties in the state. A bankruptcy administrator and his/her staff manages a panel of trustees for each district.
